Prior to working with Attorney Goodnow, Carla Halpern was a public service attorney, mediator, and community organizer. She has over a dozen years experience providing legal counsel and representation to individuals on matters of family law, discrimination, disability, public benefits, domestic violence, landlord/tenant and consumer law.

In addition to litigation, Attorney Halpern has extensive experience running investigations to uncover illegal discrimination. She has also been an educator with a wide range of teaching and training experience, including pro se client groups, social service providers, attorneys and community organizations. Attorney Halpern has trained individuals, groups, and organizations on state and federal civil rights law.
